Project Name: East Sea Leisure Lake City

Project Overview: East Sea Leisure Lake City is a large-scale integrated community in the Xianlin area of western Hangzhou. Spanning approximately 800 mu (53 hectares) with a total construction area of about 2 million square meters, it centers around the natural lake “Xianhu.” The development features American California-style architecture along the lakefront, encompassing high-rise buildings, stacked villas, and townhouses. Waterproofing construction covers high-risk leakage areas such as building roofs, basements, and exterior walls, presenting a substantial and complex scope of work. The Luban Waterproofing team designed a tailored waterproofing solution: For basement floor slabs, pre-applied polymer self-adhesive waterproofing membranes were selected to accommodate the damp substrate and complex stress conditions. For exterior walls, a composite system combining single-component polyurethane waterproof coating with 1.5mm self-adhesive polymer-modified bitumen waterproofing membrane was applied to accommodate substrate shrinkage and cracking. The roof planting area utilizes a composite system of single-component polyurethane waterproof coating and SBS root-resistant modified bitumen waterproofing membrane to resist plant root penetration and suit the horticultural environment. Roofing employs 3mm self-adhesive polymer-modified bitumen waterproofing membrane, accommodating thermal expansion/contraction and structural movement to ensure long-term waterproofing performance. Through rigorous construction techniques and quality control, the building's waterproofing integrity is effectively guaranteed, safeguarding structural safety and providing occupants with a comfortable and satisfying living environment.
