Construction technology | introduction to the "wet paving method" of self-adhesive polymer modified asphalt waterproofing membrane for underground side wall
The underground side wall is the "high-risk area" of the waterproofing project - the base is wet and difficult to dry due to the long-term influence of soil pressure and groundwater infiltration, and the construction space is narrow. Once the water leaks, it is easy to form channeling flow, which is very difficult to maintain. The wet paving method can solve these pain points, especially in the coiled material construction of underground side wall:
■ the base course is wet and does not need to wait for drying. The side wall is often slightly wet due to groundwater and curing water. The wet paving method uses cement-based adhesive for direct construction, which facilitates the chemical bonding with the concrete by using moisture, saving the dry waiting and accelerating the construction period.
■ full adhesion has strong resistance to water pressure. The adhesive penetrates into the pores of the base to form mechanical locking. The superposition of chemical combination can achieve 100% full adhesion, which can resist high water pressure, prevent water from channeling between the coiled material and the wall, and the leakage point is easy to locate.
■ the construction is suitable for narrow space, without open fire baking and pungent smell. It can be operated by 1-2 people, making it safer in the closed environment such as foundation pit and pipe gallery.
■ excellent deformation resistance and immersion resistance, high elongation of coiled material, capable of stretching with small settlement of side wall; The adhesive is an inorganic material, and its adhesion will not decrease after being soaked in water for a long time, which will greatly prolong the waterproof life.
At present, this technology has been widely used in waterproof engineering construction, and it is a common construction technology.
Process flow introduction
The wet paving method takes the cement-based adhesive as the core and simplifies the construction process into three steps of "scraping → paving → compaction":
1. the base course shall be solid, flat and clean, and the surface shall be free of dust, sundries and oil stains. The internal and external corners at the intersection of plane and elevation shall be made into arc or 45 arc corners.
2. mix according to the proportion of special rubber powder: cement: water = 1:50: appropriate amount, and mix it into a paste (the amount of water is adjusted according to the climate of the day and the moisture content of the base course).
3. snap the control line on the base course according to the set paving direction, and pre pave the coiled material according to the pre popped reference line.
4. keep the base surface moist to a certain extent, scrape or brush the blended polymer glue on the base surface once, remove the isolation film on the bottom of the self-adhesive coiled material before the polymer glue is dried, and pave the self-adhesive coiled material, and drive the air under the coiled material and excess glue to both sides with scraper or roller, so as to prevent the scraped slurry from polluting the self-adhesive of the lap joint. No one is allowed to walk on the coiled material within 24 hours after paving (during plane construction).
